MOOK is a French street artist, born in 1995 in Dijon. Inspired by the world of cartoons, absurdity, and quirky humor, he uses the walls of the city as his preferred canvas to bring to life whimsical characters, bizarre creatures, and unrealistic scenes. With his unique linear and monochrome style, exaggerated forms, and contagious sense of humor, he creates works that provoke laughter and reflection while challenging traditional artistic conventions.
MOOK draws inspiration from pop culture, cartoons of the '90s and 2000s, and social satire, transforming everyday objects into figures of the collective imagination. His characters, often absurd and distorted, inhabit streets, buildings, and even unexpected public spaces, creating a dialogue between art, the public, and the urban environment.
His work has been exhibited in various galleries in Paris, while also being regularly visible on the streets of Paris and Dijon. MOOK currently lives and works in Paris, where he continues to transform the street into a playground for his wacky creations.
