Laurena Behar is a Parisian artist, having grown up in the heart of the French capital. She captures the essence of nature through a bestiary of animals and lush vegetation, which she affectionately refers to as "vegetations." A graduate of a prestigious applied arts school in central Paris, she uses fine-tipped markers and Pantones to create captivating works that tell unique visual stories. Additionally, she also explores watercolor to enrich her artistic expression.
Having spent more than six years in an artist's residency in Puteaux, Laurena shared her art with her community, eager to discover her fantastical universe. Her talent blossomed from childhood, culminating in a first prize at a global drawing competition at the age of 10, where her work shone in Tokyo, under the watchful eyes of Jacques Chirac, then mayor of Paris.
