Keith Haring

The American artist Keith Haring was born on May 4, 1958, in Reading, Pennsylvania. From a young age, he developed a passion for drawing, learning the basic techniques of cartoons from his father and the surrounding popular culture, such as Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney.

Since his death, Haring has been at the center of major international retrospective exhibitions. His work is now displayed in some of the world's largest institutions.
