John Hamon is a French artist active since the 2000s, from Paris to international stages. Highly inspired by graffiti, advertising, and politics, he builds his approach around the concept of promotion.
Starting from an ID photo taken 17 years ago, he designs massive street posters and large-scale projections on monuments. Through this, he imposes the artistic experience by the constant reproduction and continuous dissemination of his work, resulting in widespread enthusiasm.
The artist's motto: "It’s promotion that makes the artist or the zero degree of art." Promotion is an artistic action.
