Jérôme Mesnager was born on January 29, 1961, in Colmar. In 1974, he entered the Boulle School to train as a cabinetmaker, a craft he would later teach at the same school. He then took comic strip courses under professors Yves Got and Georges Pichard at the School of Applied Arts.
The French artist is the co-founder of "Zig-Zag," a group of artists who draw graffiti in abandoned places. It was in 1983 that his first "White Man" appeared, a "symbol of light, strength, and peace." His work is visible throughout Paris and around the world: China, Japan, Senegal, Italy, Gambia...
